The Golden Fish - Torbay

Excellent cod with a thin crispy batter cooked right through. Chips were nice and uneven with curry sauce. Service ok too.

Looking for a reasonably priced fish and chip shop that still serves delicious food by the sea side is hard! But we found one!Being about cheaper than most fish and chip shops we were really pleased with ourselves and they didn’t disappoint!The staff were really friendly, a man a women and their son .The food was made to order so it was fresh!It was delicious! We had fish and battered sausage and normal sausage and portion of chipsCurry sauceGravy and it came to of the others wanted pp for fish and chipsWhen we return we shall visit here, thank you for the food and the lovely service.

We have already visited the golden fish several times and not disappointed. the personal is very friendly and welcoming. we had the offer of fishing, chips, brot and hot drink at any occasion we visited. the fish and chips were very fast. and cooked freshly. the fish is really white and extremely tasty and the chips are tasty, without being fat. fantastic eating.

Only visited to get ice creams for our children and also the fact that the lady who served us was really nice, the children were really happy with their ice creams. also the lady passed the wrong change through a couple. they chased us kindly and gave us the correct change that was really appreciated. will definitely visit again if next to in brixham with this great customer service!
