Banh Mi Boys - Toronto

We stop in here sometimes while in Toronto on vacation and a few years ago I gave this place an excellent review. My opinion changed quickly on Wednesday. We stopped by and my Wife ordered a sub and the girl taking orders is RUDE and nasty. She's about 18 or 19 years old and acts like she's mad at the world. She puts the change on the counter instead of handing it to customers and just simply looks miserable. Just a blank look on her face. No hello, no thank you etc... We won't be returning here again.

It's local , always tasty and consistent, price is right service is good. I'm glad it's so close. Love the 5 spice pork belly banh mi and the fried chicken bao. the kimchi fries are good and the portion is enough to split

I've always heard colleagues rave about Banh Mi Boys but didn't realize how good the food was until I visited for lunch. My tastebuds were overwhelmed with the flavours exploding in my mouth after each bite! What I ate: five spice pork belly banh mi, kimchi fries. Beyond amazing.Portions were just right. In fact, the banh mi sandwich was almost too filling!

Grabbed a Banh Mi one day and a few steamed Bao the next. The Pork Belly Banh Mi was just as fresh tasting as the authentic NYC carts. Slightly light on the meat but delicious nevertheless. The Bao was great. I ordered a trio of Pork Belly, Fried Chicken and Beef Cheek. All of them wee superb. Service was great, they have this down to an assembly line science. I would highly recommend this as a grab and go place with great food.

I ordered the Panko Tofu Steamed Bao which was really nice. I wish i'd had another one before i left Toronto! It's a great place if you want something quick whether you're vegetarian or a meat eater.
