Didn’t even know this place existed and it’s a great place if you’re craving Chinese food. I really enjoyed the e-fu noodles and the lady at the counter was super nice!
There’s a reason Hong Shing has been around 10+ years. Staff know how to get you in and seated quickly. Food is always hot and delicious. Whether eating in or taking out, Hong Shing is my go-to late night spot
This restaurant is one of the best I have visited. The ambiance is so amazing that you will be in awe as soon as you walk in. I ordered a variety of dishes and all of them were delicious and flavorful. The presentation of the food made my mouth water just looking at it. I highly recommend this place as a must-visit.
I couldn't resist writing this review even at 4:20am! It's been ages since I had dinner after dessert, but it was worth it. I walked into this charming, laid-back Asian restaurant around 10pm. The best part? It's open late for all you night owls looking for a late-night snack. My girlfriend and I opted for the dinner for two. We started with 2 spring rolls (3/5) that were crispy and nice, though I've had better. Next up were the crispy chicken wings (5/5) which I absolutely loved. They were perfectly crispy and flavorful, with a fresh and inviting aroma. The pork wonton soup (2/5) was decent but not quite to my liking, as I'm not a big fan of broths. The chicken fried rice (4/5) was tasty and full of flavor. The beef with veggies (5/5) was a wholesome main dish, with beef slices, celery, broccoli, mushrooms, and perhaps spinach. It was mild and well-balanced. The highlight of the meal was the Cantonese BBQ platter, which included crispy BBQ pork belly, soy chicken, and roasted duck. It was phenomenal (10/5)! I'm not a fan of duck, but my girlfriend loved it. I couldn't get enough of the chicken and pork belly. I highly recommend enjoying it with a beer—I chose Coors Light. Although I'm not a big beer enthusiast, as a certified beer expert, I can attest to the light and crisp nature of Coors Light. It pairs perfectly with the rich BBQ meats and cleanses your palate with each sip. A great combination. Our total bill came to $58, including 2 beers. Hong Shing is well worth a visit. Don't miss out! Overall rating: 8.5/10.
