Kaiju - Toronto

I can't believe I discovered this restaurant just a week before they closed their doors inside a failing mall, also known as the Shops at Aura.

As Kaiju is closing at the end of October, we decided to revisit for another taste of their delicious Japanese curry.

I discovered this small food court on Yelp and instantly decided to check it out, persuading my hesitant sister to come along with me.

I read all reviews so I decided to try. Curry was very sweet and Katsu was very thin and over cooked. I will never go back.

I tried the grilled fish curry and snack bites, and it was very good. My mistake was ordering the most spicy option. It overwhelmed the flavour. I would definitely get the grilled fish again.
