Koi Koi Sake - Toronto

The restaurant was extremely cold. I reserved a table at the bar since it was a little farther from the door. The food was decent, but it was overpriced.

Spacious dining area with a delightful selection of food and beer! The Japanese cuisine is very authentic. I really enjoyed the elegant izakaya atmosphere!

The restaurant was on Friday at 20:30 o'clock from so many items on the menu.

We visited the bar around 6:30 PM for dinner, so the atmosphere wasn't quite like a typical bar scene. There was drumming outside, which contributed to the noise since it was relatively empty during our visit. The food was tasty and arrived quickly, and the service was prompt; our server continually refilled our water cups, which we really appreciated. I can imagine that the overall experience would be much more enjoyable in the evening when it's darker and more conducive to having drinks!
