KOKO! Share Bar - Toronto

The restaurant is located in the basement, so it's a bit dimly lit. The food was delicious; the sashimi was fresh and flavorful. The tempura was crispy and light, with a variety of vegetables and shrimp. We also tried the "make your own roll" plate, but the seaweed sheets provided were on the smaller side, making it a bit challenging to roll our own sushi. Overall, it was a positive experience. The prices were typical for a sushi restaurant in Yorkville - not exceptional, but not unreasonable. I would consider returning if I was craving sushi in Yorkville.

Booked a Sunday lunch for a friend's birthday. The restaurant is small and cozy. The service is excellent. Our server was lovely and the service was perfect. I love their tea and miso soup. My friend and I shared the sushi/sashimi platter as well as seaweed salad. Very kindly, they served the birthday babe a slice of Japanese cheese cake with a candle. Everything we ate was good. If I lived in the neighbourhood I would definitely be eating at KOKO! weekly.
