Of course, this one has more fancy options than cola, lemon or grapes syrup, but it brought me amazing memories. They offer food and drinks too, but my friend and I went looking for sweet treats after dinner, and this was perfect. there's a list of options but I got the Oreo and my friend the mango one, simply delish! the prices are affordable and the portions great for my sweet tooth, not to mention the cute and inviting vintage decor and atmosphere. You'll not regret it!
A friend and I stumbled onto this great little find roaming around Chinatown. We went a little overboard and ordered the mango shaved ice with mango, minced pork rice, braised pork belly rice, black sticky rice in milk with mango, fresh water melon juice with tie guan yin tea along with peach and melon green tea. It was worth every calorie. Delicious .... The shaved mango was light, fluffy, sweet - melts in your mouth.
After settling into my hostel on College Street, I wandered to China town for a late dinner. Its rustic and industrial interior caught my eye, and I wasn't disappointed in the least. I went for the Sweet & Sour Dumplings (shrimp and pork). Delicious! I'll definitely be back for a mid-afternoon dessert during my stay, too. A neighboring table's sweets looked amazing.
I was staying in Chinatown, so wanted to eat there but not necessarily at a traditional Chinese restaurant. While out walking, I noticed Stay Cafeteria with its Asian fusion menu and contemporary decor. I went back for dinner that night, and it was an excellent choice.Being pescatarian, I had limited options, so went with the spicy prawns and eggplant. It was really good. I had a hard time picking which drink to order, as so many of them sounded good, but finally selected the fresh apple and lychee smoothie with aiyu jelly. One of the best smoothies I have ever had! My only complaint about the food was that I wasn't hungry enough to also try dessert! The decor is very modern and attracts a student crowd with their laptops. I'm much older than the typical student demographic, but still liked the atmosphere (and appreciated the good wifi connection). So if you want to eat Asian food in Chinatown but want a change from the traditional Chinese restaurants, I highly recommend Stay.
Encontramos esse café passeando pela cidade e nos surpreendemos com o ambiente super agradável, bom atendimento e comida saborosa por um preço justo.
