Írjon visszajelzéstWe were early in the restaurant, before a show, so it was pretty quiet. it was all in order.
They close in 2 weeks so many things on the menu were not available. a fast eating Chinese restaurant. sheet!
We were seated right away but waited over 30 mins for anyone to come ask if we wanted a drink or even approach the table. The filet was very very small (ridiculously so) for the price The calamari was not crispy and so unappealing and not finished. Clearly they are short staffed Had been before 2 years ago and enjoyed my meal but not this time. Will not go back.
We were a party of 3 and upon arrival the sever was friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the Brownstone management on a busy Friday night had ONLY ONE server on staff to manage a full house . This meant the kind attention did not continue and after having arrived for 6 pm barely made it to the performance at the CAA Theatre on time. We would have enjoyed dessert, but no time and we would have had a second glass of wine but no time as the server just simply was not able to serve us. We felt bad for the server and we did tip as it wasn 't his fault, BUT will never return if management continues cost savings in this way.
We went for dinner before the theatre. The ambience is good- high ceilings and exposed brick. The service was adequate. The food was decent. I had the filet mignon which was tasty but very small. My friend had the squash ravioli and said it was very good. We had to flag down the waitress when we needed anything (i.e the bill). I found it a bit unnerving that she literally hovered over me while I was choosing my tip option to see what I would pick. It felt like intimidation. Usually waiters will step back after giving you the machine and let you complete the transaction in peace. However, it is a decent option for a pre-theatre meal.
