Honey Dress Fried Chicken - Torrance

This hidden gem serves some fantastic fried chicken. It's incredibly flavorful and perfectly crispy. I tried the regular honey garlic breast and wing, and the breast was packed with meat. The fries were also excellent. I would definitely return! Food rating: 5/5.

I've tried all the flavors and this food is hotter than a freshly fried batch of chicken. The soy garlic sauce wings are heavenly, and once you go Honey Dress, you don't go back to that other place with the cows. Speaking of the chicken, it's like it was sent down from Heaven on a golden platter. It's so good that it'll make you forget all about that other place that shall not be named.The potato salad is so good it'll make you want to slap your mama (but please don't actually do that), and the garlic cream sauce is like dipping your chicken in a pool of pure bliss.The only downside is that I live too far away from Torrance to get my fix on the regular. But when I do make the journey, the heat builds instead of punching, and the layers of flavor are as satisfying as a good pun.But let me warn you, going to the bathroom after eating this chicken will hurt later. But trust me, it's worth it. And the 15-minute wait time? Also worth it. The apple cider cole slaw is a refreshing way to cool down after the hot hot hot chicken, and the crunchy crust is as satisfying as a good punchline. Honey Dress fried chicken is the bee's knees. Don't be chicken, give it a try!

Coleslaw was completely rotten, 3 wing pieces were extremely small and over fried. Also overpriced as well considering the lackluster meal portions, French fries were the darkest shade of brown.Food: 1/5

Decent fried chicken. I think it would best be described as adequate. Like, it's fine but not that great. There are def better fried chicken places to go to instead (psst bb.q chicken in the hmart food court). We went at our neighbors recommendation. He raved about it. Flavor is good but way too dark which makes the chicken on the drier side. And the coleslaw tasted rancid so we trashed it.If I were to ever try this place again I might try the fried rice cakes which look pretty good.

It was okay, the fries outdid the chicken personally.There's a few fried chicken spots that I frequent so I figured I'd give this one a shot. Took my order to go and ate most of it but it wasn't something that wowed me.The fries (chipotle) were really good and honestly was the best part.Still good just not the best
