Filter Through Coffee Lounge - Torridge

It is a rarity to find a traditional coffee shop that hasn't been compromised by the modern pursuit of profit. Filter Through is a place where you can experience a friendly greeting, excellent coffee and tea, and delicious cakes. I tried the Persian flapjack, which was wonderfully tasty, and observed other customers enjoying their meals. The relaxed atmosphere of the shop is rejuvenating, and the prices are reasonable. I only wish there was a similar coffee lounge in my area. A visit to Filter Through is definitely recommended.

The owner of the restaurant was very friendly and welcoming, but the delivery person seemed unsure of how to smile and did not provide good customer service. The oat milk latte was overly sweet and not enjoyable, and the gluten-free pre-packaged cake seemed to have been sitting for too long. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this restaurant, as there are limited dining options in Holsworthy.

With the large step and lack of room within filter through wheelchairs will find it hard to access staff will try to help by moving stuff around but access is hard for disabled people

Well, what a shame! We've been going to Filter Through, every few months, for years, following up a trip to a Holsworthy yarn shop. We normally sit in there for morning coffee and cake, lunch, then an afternoon hot drink, before leaving for Bideford. Today was different. We were made to feel very unwelcome and won't be going back

Wheelchairs can get into this cafe however room is tight and a thin pavement outside can cause trouble entering, everything is high quality and the staff are friendly
