Kafe Kaspar - Torshavn

The food was excellent, but the falafel was served cold when I was expecting it to be warm. However, the burger was tasty.

This is a lovely cozy café in Torshavn, located right next to Hotel Hafnia. The staff were friendly and accommodating, quickly providing me with the missing sweets. We ordered the double-Schleifburger and the superfood salad with smoked salmon, both were delicious and the portions were generous. The special smoothie was incredibly refreshing. The only downside was that the chai latte could have been a bit warmer. Overall, we had a great experience!

We had a great time, enjoyed some tea and coffee, and everything was excellent.

It is a bit stressful to get a vegan bagel unfortunately there are no vegan bagels on the menu, but you can build your own. However, the selection is limited and you have specifically crossed the cream cheese on your card as they all come automatically with cream cheese. They also serve Mayo automatically and the vegan cake came with non vegan whipped cream. All in all, I was happy to get something vegan because the Faroe Islands are not the best vegan destination (understood in terms of the small number of people living there and the fact that most of the food imported).

I ordered a vegan bagel sandwich filled with falafel, hummus, and vegetables, with a side of fries and ketchup. It was decent given the limited vegan options in Torshavn, but I preferred Frida Cafe in Klaksvik.
