Good tea place with an impressive choice of quality tea and home-made cakes, but I tried lunch there too (Enjoy the moussaka, pasta is so-so) and it was

5 of us ate here last night and were very disappointed. The service, or should I say 'lack of', was appalling. There was one waiter for about 6 tables, so not exactly busy... We had to wait 10 minutes before we were asked if we wanted an 'aperitif' and about half an hour befoore our order was taken. I had the grilled camembert. By the time the 'liquidified' camembert had cooled down, the potatoes were cold. The salmon risotto was swimming on the plate... We asked for wine when the order was taken and got it once we had finished our mains. We decided to skip pudding and went inside to pay. We were told the bill would be brought to our table. We ended up waiting half an hour for the bill which was 130EUR for 5 mains, a bottle of wince (which we couldn't drink) and 5 drinks. 4eur for a glass of lemonade an syrup... A bit on the expensive side. We will not be returning.

I'm surprised by the variety of opinions on this restaurant. I was here with a bunch of work colleagues while we were attending a conference in the city. Despite not having reservations, the waitress organized space for us (6 people) very quickly and she was very friendly. The food was superb. Several of us had the goat cheese salad which was well prepared and was served as a generous portion. My beef dish was likewise extremely good. The restaurant was very busy, but the pace of the meal, while a bit slow, was fine and we all had a wonderful evening.Highly recommended.
