The Slug And Lettuce, Canary Wharf

Shannon was a babe 10/10 the nicest girl ever she needs a raise. kostas and james were a delight. will definitely be returning just for all three of their service.

My friend and I met at Canary Wharf for our first get together for months and we wandered into the Slug Lettuce to ask if they could do us a snack and a drink and they couldn't have been more helpful, especially when we asked if we could move away from an open door as it had gone rather chilly! Shannon looked after us very well with some helpful suggestions and our food and drinks arrived quite promptly. We sat and chatted and felt very comfortable there. Nice and clean, plenty of space between the tables and the background music was nice and low so we could hear ourselves speak.

Booked a table a table a week in advance for myself and 4 of my friends for drinks. Rang to advise the bar that we would be running 15 mins late. Did not speak to a human but spoke to an answer phone. Clearly no one could be bothered to check the answering machine as we turned up at the door only to be met by the bouncer who was incredibly rude and told us to go away even though i had informed him we had made a booking and called ahead to let the bar know we would be late. Disgusting behaviour. Don’t waste your time coming here.

I went to this restaurant&pub at this period of Coronavirus and Casey and Paula and Shannon make my evening do feel safety they cleaning all the time and awesome service! Will come back as soon I can after/or period of virus!

Visited this place on Saturday night and they were letting in groups of six not from same family’s. Groups of friends. The ladies toilet was disgusting sick in the sinks that had not been cleaned up so you couldn’t wash your hands as many people as you could get in the toilet. Management need to check on this establishment.
