Thirsty Moose Pub Grub - Town of Colton

Nice place, a little dated. It could probably use some upgrades, but not too much. It may lose its appeal. The service was very good, our waitress was fun and helpful, the food was good bar food, enjoyed the whole experience.

Just stopped here for dinner and it was a doozy. Sat at the bar and was greeted by a less than enthusiastic bartender. We might as well have been served by Eeyore. We ordered drinks, a burger and a chicken sandwhich. I was not asked how I wanted the burger cooked and when I brought it up I was rudely responded with well how do you want it cooked? which is a trick question to begin with because they don 't cook anything under medium. Food came out and it was pretty decent, except for when we asked for a side of ranch and this is where it all went down hill. The bartender brought out an OPEN CUP of ranch which actually turned out to be tartar sauce?? Which she didn 't seem to notice even after she STUCK HER NOSE IN THE CUP TO SMELL IT??? and proceeded to say I can never tell the difference between ranch and Bleu cheese We were dumbfounded. Never have I ever experienced something like this. 10/10 do. not. recommend.

I came across this place a while ago my house caught on fire in the Star lake area so we had to find some place to get takeout and we ordered two pizzas one of pepperoni one egg cheese pizza from the thirsty moose and I have to say for somebody from New York who grew up in Little Italy this is the best pizza in the area! Also the person behind the ball was very nice and very cordial as for everybody who were employed at the restaurant. We also ordered a child's meal for our Labrador retriever

The bartender was also the server and may be hard of hearing as he missed hearing or ignored the bell 3 x when our food was up. The owner/cook ended up bringing us our food and very nice. The food was very good.
