Backyard Bbq House - Townsend

Food was good and staff very friendly. Wait for the food was slow, but the food was hot and fresh. The only real complaint I would have is that there were no children's menus, and we were allowed to order half a chicken dish. Eight or even four is too much for a 1 and 3 years old to eat.

Very comfortable, great atmosphere. Our server was friendly and helpful and, for the price, the food was very good. Provided you don't walk in expecting gourmet bbq, I highly recommend this place for a good, filling meal at an exceptional price.

Recently renovated, this restaurant was a great choice for my family during our tubing sessions on the river. We all left feeling happy and satisfied. The portion sizes were generous, and we enjoyed sharing our meals together. Although they don’t serve alcohol, they were very accommodating when we inquired about it.

Despite some concerns about the management, the food is consistently incredible and well worth the price. Our server, Miranda, was outstanding as always.

Excellent food and service! We had a wonderful time on the Little River, and the food was absolutely delightful. The baked beans had a nice kick, just the way I like them, and the BBQ sauce was perfectly balanced. Highly recommended!
