Smokin Joes - Townsend

We just got back to our cabin from eating here , thought we would try it since we came back from cades cove so late, This place was HORRIBLE, Wish I had of taken pictures, My husband ordered Ribs, I ordered chopped BBQ, These ribs were not smoked and they were cooked days before and heated up, I got shredded bbq that was old , very old tasting and only crumbs really, It looked like crumbs that was left in the bottom of a pan, very dry was aweful and litterly not even enough to make a small bbq sandwich if you wanted to put it on a bun, very very old tasting, my corn nuggets were cooked days ago and heated up, we couldnt finish was a waste of money, worse food ive ever ate at a restaraunt, when the girl at the checkout ask how our food was, we told her not that good, she only said im sorry, didnt ask why or what was wrong nothing.My advice is dont eat here, I hope we dont get sick

We visited Cades Cove and drove back to Pigeon Forge. We came with about 12 people in front of us in line and soon realized that only one server worked and the little hostess was homeowner, cleaning tables, serving and money with the most precious smile and attitude! She was a trooper! The food was fantastic! Service was great and we will visit again when we are in the area! It was a great family square!

Always get the chicken dinner with two sides! Great price for good food! The BBQ sauce is also great! I like the waitresses too!

Even if the air conditioning was not ordered, the food was delicious! I have eaten several times in the past, but the first time this year and they have changed the baked beans for the better! You were great! Also the smoked chicken tried for the first time and it was moist and very tasty. Great food for great prices and service was wonderful!

One of the best places to eat in the area and definitely the best in Townsend....we ate there 3 times in 6 days.
