Dynasty Seafood Restaurant - Townsville

I visited this restaurant for the second time tonight. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. We tried a variety of dishes from the menu, such as the crocodile with coriander and chilli, Coral trout with ginger, and quail. I will definitely be returning again.

This is undoubtedly one of the best Chinese restaurants in Townsville. I make it a point to dine here whenever I am in the area. The seafood, particularly the fish, prawns, and scallops, is consistently fresh and delicious. Dynasty is one of the few places where I opt for steamed fish, as the quality and freshness truly shine through when it is prepared this way rather than fried. Our meal started with seafood San Choy Bow and fried quails for starters, followed by coral trout steamed with ginger and shallots, a seafood hotpot, Chinese-style pork ribs, king prawns, duck with Chinese mushrooms, and white rice. Every dish was flavorful and well-prepared, but the standout for me was the steamed fish, closely followed by the San Choy Bow. The king prawns were perfectly cooked, and the pork ribs were delicious with their accompanying sauce. The duck with Chinese mushrooms could have used a bit more duck, but the juicy, thick mushrooms made up for it. The restaurant offers a great selection of wines, cocktails, ports, and dessert wines. There is a convenient free car park just a short walk away, making it easy to find parking. Overall, Dynasty is a must-visit for anyone who enjoys Chinese seafood cuisine in Townsville.

There were around 10 people at our table and we all ordered the set menu. It was fantastic and we had no complaints. The food was fresh, well-prepared, and delicious. The service was also excellent. Unfortunately, I got caught up in the moment and forgot to take any pictures. I am looking forward to returning to try the duck or crab dishes that I have heard are excellent. However, it is on the expensive side. I don't mind paying as long as the quality is good.
