Absolutely amazing experience from beginning to end. Josh is very knowledgeable and professional with what he does. Had an extensive knowledge of the will and other questions we had about food. Great customer service, good food, good value for money and a great atmosphere. We'll be back.

Our server, Rose, was an absolute superstar. She made our culinary experience very cozy. While eating on the more expensive side is definitely worth it. The quality is not good, seafood is fresh and everything is always delicious. Everything is shared in my opinion, we love to order the Sashimi and Sushi Plates and some extra stock dishes. I would recommend a booking to secure a place. It is a great place for a special occasion or date night. The owner, Josh, is very friendly and committed and we really enjoyed bringing my mother to this fantastic culinary experience.

We were lucky to eat here for my birthday with the family and I couldn't owe the restaurant. The food was excellent and the service was friendly and fast. Nothing was a problem. We will enjoy many more meals here. Thanks for a wonderful night.

It was such a great experience in Sakana. We were served by Josh, who is very friendly and patient. The food is super delicious. The environment is so pleasant. I will definitely try to come back with friends.

Travelling from Melbourne, we have a host of options when it comes to Japanese food. This is the best Japanese restaurant we have eaten at. The food was outstanding. The textures, flavour and freshness were all fantastic. Furthermore, the staff were all professional, friendly, and made the experience very warm and welcoming. The atmosphere of the restaurant was attractive without being obnoxious. The service is great, food got to us very quickly. The prices are very reasonable. We ate very well including dessert for $60 per head. We look forward to coming again when we return to Townsville. Thanks Sakana!
