The Sun Hotel - Townsville

I recently had the pleasure of organizing my neighbor's 80th birthday celebrations in the Rising Sun Function Room. I cannot speak highly enough of our experience. The food was delicious and catered to all ages, and it was served efficiently. All 60 guests were completely satisfied, and everyone was served within an hour. Well done! I would like to give a special shout out to the two girls who took care of everything on the day (I apologize for forgetting your names), you both were patient and amazing. Credit also goes to Lisa who effortlessly ensured that everything was organized. Thank you to all the staff at the Rising Sun for their help. We will definitely be returning. - Tash

The staff at this restaurant is wonderful - polite and friendly. The meals are excellent as always. I will definitely recommend coming here.

I absolutely adore this restaurant. The food is exceptional and the staff is fantastic. I can't say enough good things about The Sun Hotel - it's the place to be.

InforMARE steaks are large. chicken parmy was delicious, good portion size, moist inside. beautiful side salad and great chips. good service and reasonable prices.
