Allens Fried Chicken - Trafford

I would like the option to choose between halal and non-halal food at the restaurant. I do not want halal food to be the only option available to me. Just because some people prefer halal food, does not mean that everyone else should be limited in their choices.

I couldn’t recommend this place in any level. Awful ‘food’. Cheap muck really. It’s been 7 years since I last ate from this chicken place and it wasn’t my choice then or now. I can wait another 70 years but never again. As with the last time I tried a bit of the food but I didn’t enjoy it. I stayed hungry as I tried and failed to get my head round why anyone, especially very wealthy folks, would knowingly feed this disgusting stuff to their kids or themselves let alone pay money for it but all was devoured cold chips, cheap chicken, flabby skin, sinew and batter. The so called chips were limp and stone cold within 5/6 minutes of being served and were truly grim to eat. I took three, all cold, all limp/flaccid and one was raw. They all tasted unpleasant. I wanted to spit them out. It’s a takeaway place with all the ambience of a tyre depot with low paid, low morale staff doing their best to be polite and welcoming.

Absolutely shocking service. Firstly, took nearly two hours for them to attempt a delivery. Then an extremely rude driver tried to tell me that the postcode was incorrect (not true, it's been here forever) Just because he didn't want to deliver. Called the restaurant to basically get told tough, too busy and then have the phone put down on me. They now won't answer my calls or deliveroos calls. I would avoid like wildfire, there's a reason their reviews are so low.

Absolutely disgusting understanding on phone, they cut me off, coz they said minimum of £10 spend, when I was told no minimum spend, had 2 phone back again, only for person on the end of the phone to start arguing with me. First time I tried 2 use them and never again! Be warned don't trust them, coz all I wanted was 2 pice chicken and chips, they wanted £10 plus probably what just eat add £4 as well. Place an absolute joke, rip off, and totally ignorent staff..

Tried to short change my handicapped friend for£10. Gave it me back without argument...guilty !! Never going there again and will tell everyone
