La Taberna Del Re - TRANI

We liked sitting outside in this narrow old town street but the food was very average. We had some gnociette,fried courgettes, focaccio, followed by rather dull, slightly burned pizza. Wine (primitivo) was very good and only €10. €36 for two with the water and wine. Not our best meal but pleasant service.

This place i will return to just for the pizza. theee best ive had in italy. and you can sit in an old ancient oven and eat. i would fly to rome rent a car drive to trani for this pizza,.... then leave. it's that great. and i am a east coast pizzaman, dammit
