Cordwood Bbq - Traverse City

My husband and I were in Traverse City for our honeymoon and we chose Cordqood BBQ because of the pride flag out front. We made the best choice! The mac n cheese pulled pork sandwich was the best pulled pork and the best mac n cheese I've ever had. Same with their regular pulled pork sandwich. Absolutely outstanding. Their lemonades were terrific. 15/10

Update: The new owner reached out to me and explained that I had contacted them during their transition period when they had recently taken over the business from the previous owner. He assured me that all information has now been updated, and new brides can expect to hear back from their catering team within two weeks of submitting a catering form. He was very apologetic and offered my fiancé and me a complimentary meal the next time we're in town. While I'm disappointed that my initial request was overlooked, I would have liked to support their business for my wedding but had to move forward with someone else. Wishing them the best moving forward!

Cordwood hosted our wedding for 200 guests and did so flawlessly. The staff was extremely professional, and the food was absolutely amazing. We received countless compliments about the food, which was a huge relief since my wife and I live on the west coast and couldn’t taste the menu beforehand. They exceeded all our expectations. We cannot recommend Cordwood highly enough for anyone planning a wedding or a large event!

The barbecue here is consistently excellent, and the dishes are very enjoyable as well. It may be a bit pricey, but it’s definitely worth it. Additionally, the staff is friendly and provides quick service!
