The Cosmopolitan Trentham

We had a fantastic experience with large portions, a lively atmosphere, and exceptional service from all the staff, who were incredibly friendly even on a notably busy day. Everything we ordered was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. This place is truly a gem, and we can't wait to return to try one of their fabulous wood-fired pizzas as soon as possible!

My companion and I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant, but we found the food to be overpriced and quite ordinary. Additionally, we were charged an extra 15% due to it being a special occasion. I noticed that the menu mentioned a price of $30 for two people, which seemed misleading, as the cost for a burger or parma is actually $28 each. On the positive side, the service was very friendly.

The establishment was clean, including the tables and restrooms. We had the option to dine inside the restaurant or outside in the garden, and we chose the garden. It was nicely shaded, and they even provided sunscreen, which was a nice touch. I ordered the lamb and was very satisfied with it; it was cooked perfectly, and the broccolini was just the way I like it. The wood-fired pizza was excellent as well. They also had a selection of local craft beers on tap, and the Holegate IPA was particularly delightful. If you're in the area looking for good food and a few beers, you won't be disappointed!

Terrible customer service. stuffy environment and serious lack of ambiente. not family friendly, in which would go so far that children are not welcome there. do not recommend.

I love a cosy Country pub and the Cosmopolitan Hotel is a great specimen. I visited with my family and the children are well catered for with a kids meal on offer and enough room for us all to be comfortable. This is a cosy pub with a classic menu featuring local ingredients. I really enjoyed the local wine list too. I ordered the heirloom beetroot with polenta and my husband had the Wagu beef burger. Our food was good and the traditional, pared back decor gave the restaurant a warm atmosphere for dinner with the family.
