Crispy Fish Chicken - Trenton

Unfortunately, our recent experience was the final straw. Everything seemed to be fried in old oil, resulting in a strong and unpleasant taste that lingered in our mouths all day. The fries were soggy and dark from the grease, and the cheese sticks were overcooked. The fish and gyro meat were also overcooked and dry. It was clear that cost-cutting measures had affected the overall quality of the food, with portion sizes feeling skimpy and the taste suffering as a result. We understand the need to cut costs, but it felt like the customer was paying the price for every corner that was cut – first in portion sizes, and now in the quality of the food itself.

I am giving this restaurant one star solely based on the service. We were unable to reach anyone on the phone 45 minutes before closing to place a pick-up order, which normally only takes 10 minutes. This has now happened twice. The service has also been unfriendly recently. While we have had good experiences and food in the past, there have been occasional mistakes, such as receiving the wrong side order about 1 out of 6 times, although not recently.

I adore their catfish! I had their Philly Cheesesteak a few weeks ago and it was absolutely delicious!

Ordered 3 Cod dinners 3/31. I don't know what happened but fish was over cooked and the portions were more like fish sticks. Could not finish Cod it was so bad. Quality has gone way down. Very disappointing!

My Gyro with Lamb meat was great! Fries were very good. Chicken Tenders are very nice portions, could use a little more seasoning for my taste. All and all a good lunch and we will go back!
