Little King - Trenton

In Virginia, there is a restaurant named The Jove that brings back memories of my childhood in Hamilton Township. This place holds a special place in my heart as it was where I had my first hoagie. I am a fan of their food and atmosphere.

Honestly, Little King is the best hoagie shop around and has been since I was young. My personal favorite is the egg salad hoagie!

I was recommended this restaurant by a black woman who lives and works nearby. It is conveniently located on little king street and has a cozy, old-fashioned atmosphere. The prices are affordable and the portions are generous.

Their sandwiches are really flavorful. I don't dislike any that I've tried....BUT sometimes the special sandwiches try to add too much flavors and they don't always hit the mark perfectly. Pains me to say it as I never want them to stop being creative, so take my opinion for a grain of salt. Only reason I couldn't give them 5 stars. But definitely go try them!

Fast service despite the lunch crowd. These guys pump out quality sandwiches every minute. Amazing bread, meats, cheeses, and produce. Second time back in NJ, and I always told myself I'd come back to this place if I was in the area, so I brought my husband this time too.
