Mamma Maria’s' Pizza - Trenton

The food at this restaurant is absolutely disgusting! At first, we thought it was a bad night but after 3 separate occasions, it was definitely just a terrible experience all around. The pizza was soggy, the pasta soggy and off tasting, the chicken parm sandwich was very small on a supposed ciabatta roll, which tasted more like pizza dough with frozen chicken tenders and jar sauce. Again, 3 separate orders on 3 separate occasions. Gross! Service: Delivery

Atmosphere inside the restaurant is very cozy and authentic. Food is great. Pizza is so delicious and tasty at this restaurant, it was really one of the best pizza I have ever seen. We had such a lovely family dinner this evening. We’ve been coming to Mama Rosa’s for years, we were so sad to see it close and also ecstatic to see Tony take on this historical place with his own twist and charm. Looking forward to many more dinners. Definitely try the square pizza!

This has to be one of the worst restaurants I have ever been to. My family and I went to Grounds for Sculpture and were starving afterwards. We found this place nearby and decided to go there when a Puerto Rican spot we chose nearby was packed. The parking was plentiful and I did see they had a small place in the back to eat outside. They did make room for us which was nice cause we were a party of 5. The waitresses were nice. The one who took the order had trouble taking the order or understanding what we were ordering. They didn’t have one of the dishes available. The water didn’t taste good. The dishes were OK except one fo the sandwiches which had no flavor. It wa a literally a tomato and cheese, no pesto no nothing to flavor it with. My daughter’s dish was late and when it arrived, it arrived with no chicken. The she said she could not eat it cause it definitely wasn’t fettuccini Alfredo. She complained it tasted like butter. I tasted it and it was like they added a stick of butter. Not a hint of Alfredo sauce. It was disgusting. I asked the waitress to take it back and that we would not be taking the chicken or anything that they had forgotten. We weren’t offered something else in return or given an apology for it. The food was really disappointing. As it got later the room we were in got darker and it was almost pitch dark until they realized and put the lights on. We were right by the kitchen so it was hot. The place had no AC. Someone came in for a pick up order and he had to tell them what he ordered. Most places I go to I just give my order number or name and they know what I orders. He had to repeat it twice. I don’t know how this restaurant has decent reviews cause it’s terrible . I highly DONT recommend it.
