Great fresh food, directly from the farm to the plate. The owners are super friendly and enthusiastic about the authenticity and quality of the products they produce. Make sure to reserve in advance and mention any special diet u follow as this is not a la carte place. Portions are absolutely huge.

The owners Irene and Carlo are extremely welcoming and are able to introduce you in their world, made of organic food interpreted in an original way. I don't usually love restaurants for families, but I would definitely go back. It's a good choice.

We have been several times with friends and children, organic food comes from their crops, Carlo introduces the dishes served at the beginning of each dinner, explains the origin and the work done by him and Irene, his girlfriend, and a group of friends who work on the farm. The traditional dishes of Salento are excellent and genuine flavor and intense. The wine is organic and of excellent quality. During the week they have different educational programs for children, our grand daughter has followed a course of archeology. A place to follow them carefully if you make a holiday in Salento.

We arrived just before sunset so we had time to go and visit the donkeys and horses and have a look around the farm, which is very beautiful in it's self. When we sat down the owner came and told/taught us about sustainable and organic food and the philosophy of the farm and restaurant. After we the introductions the food started flowing. It was delicious. We got a four course meal starting with different cheeses, vestibules and fish. I even ate a raw prawn (and I never normally even eat a cooked one). Each course was amazing as was the wine. I highly recommend this place if you are in the area.
