El Fornel - TRIESTE

It looked like a nice restaurant. And it is, a very nice decor. However service was slow (the waiter did apologize due to troubles in the kitchen). The food, I found, was really bland. Bit disappointed.

Went here because it looked good from the outside, but we were a bit disappointed. The food was rather pricy but also not too good. Also, we waited about 40 minutes for 5 meals. The waiter was nice and the ambiente was ok.

The food was good (seafood pasta and grilled squid) but the portions were a bit small and the price a bit high. The interior decorations are nice and rustic.

At first impact we had a bit of fear, but it was really a surprise to taste a great risotto of white fish and a apple pie made in the house very good, friendly and kind waiter. clean, warm and comfortable bathroom

Home cooking. No gross deburring but not even a real peak of delicacy. The spaghetti with clams the only dish that manages a little to get tired. Cute place and at the tables a cute fac totum!
