Scarpon - TRIESTE

No fuss. No frills. Just excellent seafood. Fresh and to the point. Staff was capable and friendly. Anthony Bourdain’s ghost might sit down next to you he would have loved this place.

What more could one say about this restaurant off the beaten track run by a pleasant lady? That because its previous location was near a theatre, its walls are decorated with theatrical pictures and mementos, which being naturally curious I found interesting. We enjoyed the food as well.

This was recommended by my hotel. I had the mixed seafood plate which had small fish and squid from the waters off Trieste. Very good.

Mouth watering genuine Italian food at very fair prices. Service is very efficient too. Menu is vast and portions generous.
