Hildr - Tromsoe

I chose the 5 course menu with wine pairing and enjoyed it hugely. Kind, knowledgeable, and simple introductions of each dish wine. The food was tasty, fun, creative, different from what we get in Barcelona. Yet, HILDR would blend perfectly there at home. Impressive. Congratulations. I hope to come back.

Dinner was quite good, even if you had only few choices. Bread is extremely expensive, be careful. Staff is welcoming but a little bit unfair: they made us pay an extra amount without telling us. It's not fair at all.

Outstanding meal had 5 courses with wine pairing, service was fantastic and food was utterly divine. The cod tongues in particular were amazing. Fantastic restaurant.

Amazing restaurant we thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. The restaurant is lively and charismatic, the menu was great and if you contact in advance they cater for vegans/ vegetarians/ pescatarians. The staff were lovely and very attentive.

We had the 5 course dinner, which with small dishes in between was actually 8. The food was excellent, with king crab, quails and catfish. All the food was well prepared and presented. I think the potato dish did not fit in, and would rather have used the king crab soup as one of the dishes. Service was pleasant with good wine proposals. The whole meal took 3 hours with some time too long waiting time. Shorten this and I would go from 4 to 5 on my rating.
