Cafe Sushi - Troy

The new location is as comfortable for the exit and still has the same great eating as the old bigger ones. I love this place and have never had anything, was not a fan of! great staff!

I ordered a spicy California roll and I got it clear as if even the crab was as dry, just like sand tasted. I also have a garnel Tempoura role you can't go wrong with so I can't say anything. Finally, I have the crabs and let me tell you. they made arent in the business and I got my frozen on the inside, so I asked for a box to take them home and reheat them. for three articles I paid about $25, which is not worth it at all. I never write reviews especially bad, but that was just terrible

Made an order over the phone for three items for carry-out. The total should have been $26.00. Went to Cafe Sushi, and the total was $40.00 at time of pick-up. The lady said that the prices went up, though their menu was not updated on their site. She and four other employees surrounded me as I tried to explain that someone should have stated over the phone the prices are incorrect (or had increased), to which the lady said there was no need to. Unprofessional from the staff as the lady started to raise her voice.To the staff/owner of Cafe Sushi. You need to be transparent. If your prices increased, that's fine, notify your customers, over the phone or in-person. Update your menu on your website with the new pricing. All of this could have been avoided had you been upfront with the expectation on the pricing changes. Do not raise your voice to your customers. They will not return to your business.
