Chili's Grill - Troy

I ordered the $10 lunch special which was the Chicken Chipotle Frex Mex Combo with soup. The soup was a bit too salty for my liking so I didn't finish it. My daughter opted for the Loaded fries and Chicken Alfredo, but had to request for it to be reheated as it was served cold. Unfortunately, we couldn't fully enjoy our meal due to the cold temperature in the restaurant so we ended up packing it to go.

I was disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. The salad I ordered was old and wilted, lacking the crunch that fresh lettuce should have. When I brought this up, I was told that the crunchy chicken was to blame, but even the lettuce untouched by the chicken was the same. Another person at my table ordered the same salad without issue. We had some confusion with our server when we asked for hot water, as they seemed unsure of what to do. Eventually, we received a beer-sized mug of hot water instead of a cup for tea. When a new server arrived, we asked about the hot water and it finally arrived, albeit late. This was not my first visit to this restaurant, but it may be my last as I expect better service when dining out.

I hate to give a low rating because I worked in the service industry during high school and college, but my experience at this restaurant was not great. It took 20 minutes to get our drinks and almost 30 minutes for our food. The food was decent, but it seemed like it had been sitting out for too long. The worst part was when we had to call the manager over to find our server to get the check. I could understand the long wait times on a busy Friday night, but we came in after 7pm on a Sunday.

Our waitress T was amazing! She made the experience 100000000x better! Hope to see her again! The food was amazing but the staff was the star of the show! For the price this is the best restaurant hands down for dinner and hanging out with friends! We camefrom Canada today try the food and wow was it worth it!

The food was ok. I wasn't happy at all about waiting at least 20 minutes to be sat in a restaurant that wasn't heavily populated. There was definitely some level of confusion between the kitchen and servers.
