Sushi King - Troy

Delicious crab rangoon and cold noodles with peanut sauce! My child absolutely loves the food, and the new renovations have created a very family-friendly and comfortable atmosphere. The spicy tuna roll is also one of my many favorites at this restaurant.

I really appreciate the unique twists they put on classic dishes like kung pao lo mein. I've never had a bad experience or meal here. The staff is always friendly when I dine in, and the takeout and delivery maintain their quality really well.

I tried their Sunomono, which is usually a vinaigrette salad, but what I got was described as "5 pieces of different fish with sesame sauce." In reality, it was five pieces of sashimi served on top of slightly pickled julienne cucumbers, which I assume is the sunomono component. Regardless, the sashimi was incredibly fresh, and overall, this restaurant offers great value.

Different and delicious. This review pertains to one specific menu item, the Wontons in Spicy Peanut Sauce. I love them. It's the sauce that sends me over the moon and I have to come get them every time I am home; just the right amount of kick and the green onions are so fresh on top, I get the appetizer with a side of steamed white rice and it is fantastic. I have had the sushi here about a decade ago, and it was good from what I can remember, but once I found this appetizer I have never gotten anything different from the menu.

Cute waitress. Nice restaurant, not terriffic, but shows potential and I hope they do well. Pretty decent food too and cheap. I'll come back if I'm ever in Troy, NY again.
