The Front Room - Tuam

I had my 50th birthday party at this restaurant last October. I chose to support Aidan as he was an old neighbor, but I was extremely disappointed. Despite informing Aidan months in advance of my food preferences, we received 4 plates of sandwiches, 4 plates of burnt onion rings, sausages, and cold wedges. Most of the hot food was sent back as it was not up to standard. I did not ask for enough food to feed the entire bar, yet I was charged 250 euros for the whole bar. Aidan promised to donate 50 euros to Jack and Jill with my money, but he never did. I was embarrassed in front of my family and friends, and my old neighbor had to cut the cake as we had to ask for plates. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

The bartender informed us at 6 pm that they were no longer serving food. The description was misleading - if you're looking to eat, this is not the place to be.

The food was absolutely delicious, all of us ordered something from the breakfast menu as there were 6 of us in total. The service was very efficient and we couldn't have asked for more food. The tea, coffee, and toast were constantly refilled. We were very pleased from beginning to end.

The staff are friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is comfortable. A pleasant dining experience.
