Northlake Thai Cuisine - Tucker

Lived in the area for over 4 years and saw the sign and the place when we drive by but it never looked open. We decided to give it a try tonight. The service was good but there are definitely some shortcomings. We ordered the chicken coconut soup and it's sweeter than your typical coconut soup. My wife split pad Thai with her daughter and it was average. I ordered the curry laksa with chicken. The soup was tasty but the noodles were really chewy like it was instant ramen. We had quite a bit of leftovers so we took the rest to go and when I got home I was surprised and disappointed that they dumped all the laksa soup out. That's the main part of what makes laksa good. All that was in the container was the chewy instant ramen noodle and some chicken. We gave it a try but will not be going back.

Outstanding dining experience! Beautiful setting and service.

A quiet and inviting atmosphere with friendly and warm staff. The steamed mussels were delicious for an appetizer and it was a rather large portion, especially for one person. The Chilean sea bass was also delicious and just the right amount. I would definitely dine here again. I highly recommend!

The food was too oily and all you taste is that. I couldn’t even have more than few bites.
