Brother John's Beer, Bourbon & BBQ

We were an older group (60-70) so are used to a more quiet dining experience though we were looking forward to the ambience and the food. Thé resto/bar was beautiful, eclectic and well designed. We were all impressed with your setting. Our host did not have a record of our reservations even though I had telephoned the morning before and left a confirmation message on your answering machine. He promptly seated us anyway and an excellent waitress came by and gave us an informative, humourous description of the food. We were excited. We were offered tastings of beer which we appreciated, not knowing the beers on hand and final made our selections of food and beverages. From then on it was wait, wait wait. Always a different waitress and always something missing from the meal, no smoked potato available, half an order of ribs instead of a full order. My husband finally ordered a coffee which we waited forever for and when another different waitress brought it, sans cream, simply said it was coming . It never did. Too bad as we liked the place but probably can 't recommend it to friends from our area in Green Valley as it wasn 't worth the drive. We older folks are used to better service.

Pulled pork and sides were very tasty. Really enjoyed the variety of beer styles as well as the choices within each style. Also liked being able to buy small pours vs just pints or 1/2 pints.

Delightful dining experience. Our first time with the pairing opportunity. Food was excellent as always, the trying of different beers with each course was a treat. We will do it again

At six 6:15 you were out of baked potatoes which was disappointing. The ugly steak was too tough to eat. Mac and cheese and cilantro salad dressing were very good. Not in a hurry to come back.

We had a great lunch celebrating a friend’s birthday. Everyone enjoyed their food and beverages. Beignets shared for dessert were really a treat!
