The food is very good and the service is very fast. The restaurant ambience is not the best and certainly the parking can be challenging. Looking forward to trying the other location soon.
We have been eating here for years, the service is always spot on and the dishes are amazing! Fresh ingredients, rich and interesting flavors, true comfort food. One of our absolute favorite restaurants in the U.S.
Had lunch at Tumerico with friends and family when I was visiting Tucson. It 's now on my short list of the BEST vegan-friendly restaurants in the Western States! I had a burrito with 'carnitas ' and red chili which was delicious and satisfying. I loved that it came with a generous green salad as well as rice and beans to balance things out. It was a *real* salad made with mixed greens, not the shaved iceberg lettuce you see in many standard Mexican restaurants. I can 't tolerate much onions or garlic and they were very flexible with almost all menu items which allowed me the rare opportunity to be overwhelmed with lots of great choices! I loved the use of jackfruit paired with a variety of delicious sauces. Because there were six of us in our group I had the opportunity to get samples of a number of menu items which were all excellent. I will definitely be eating at Tumerico whenever I 'm in Tucson!
I love their creative touch on all items. Plates are always very appealing with extras that make for an interesting meal. Orders are self serve and there is often a line. Avoid busy times if you are eating inside as it fills up, quickly.
I always find jackfruit a bit meh, but they’ve found a way to perfect it. Sadly I’m genetically predisposed to hate cilantro which is a bit of a problem, but otherwise it’s delicious.
