Amber Court Chinese - Tullamore

I ordered takeout and had it delivered to my home. The spring rolls were overcooked and the prawn toast was dripping with oil. I had to soak up the excess oil with paper towels. The curry sauce was too spicy and the chicken balls were soggy. The fried rice and chips were okay, but nothing special. At least you can't really mess up fried rice and chips! The delivery person was friendly, but unfortunately, I won't be ordering from this restaurant again.

I can't write about my review since I work in the jade inn tullamore so on behalf of my mother and father who get food and food for a parties who were very impressed gave more food than asked very well priced and everyone at the party general had no bad words they all left very full. As I do work here also I would say we do get extremely busy at times and people often do wait to long and I very apologetic to them and hope they don't regret ordering there food form here. As I said before on behalf of my mother and father review they loved the food and said since they start getting food here they wouldn't go anywere else.

As usual, it's been nearly 2 hours and still no sign of our food. I'm also anticipating another mixed up order. It just wouldn't be characteristic of this restaurant if they got it right.

We have eaten in the Jade Inn many times and have always had great service and food. On Friday last, we decided to get a takeaway for my mums birthday treat. 5 main courses with sides, portion of fried noodles, 2 chips and a 4 in 1 came to a very acceptable 56 euro and a complimentary bottle of wine and prawn crackers. I must say that I ordered over phone for collection at a certain time and my food was ready waiting when I arrived. The food was delicious and there was more than enough in the large portions. Also there was no garish red colouring that is used in some other outlets.

I eat here about once a year and have never had a bad meal eating in. I can't comment on the takeaway. The food always tastes fresh and well prepared with quality ingredients. I'll keep coming back!
