Elmer's BBQ - Tulsa

Read the older reviews and was skeptical, but it was really good. Ribs good with good bark. Chopped brisket good bark as well. We were hungry did the "half Nelson" for $30, worth the money. Sauces ok would definitely eat here again.

Great atmosphere BUT the food was not good. Bologna was great; however, the ribs, Brisket, beans, and green beans were not.. I won't be back here. The sauces were also just plain. The ribs had probably been in the warmer a long time.

When I order a sandwich in Texas Toast, I expect REAL Texas Toast size toast and enough bread to make a FULL sandwich, not a HALF sandwich. Was not impressed with that at all, should have been advertised as 1/2 sandwich and have been half the price. Will not go back.

Hit the jack pot today! Been here a few times and maybe they were just having a bad day or what I ordered just wasn't on par. But not today! We both ordered two of their Badwiches, mine no bun add Texas toast with potato salad and baked beans. Boyfriends on bun with potato chips and beans. This was just delicious! You get ribs, chopped beef, Bologna and a hot link! Super value too.

With so many BBQ joints in the Tulsa metro I often forget about Elmer's. The badwich is always a good idea. The potato salad is my favorite in the city. Solid BBQ.
