The Chalkboard - Tulsa

Very nice place. The staff is polite and professional. We had some little chat with our waiter last night. She seems like a nice girl. I forgot her name. The restaurant looks cozy inside, but we were chilling on the patio with some glasses of Rose ????.This place is overpriced, as for me!

Absolutely perfect dining experience! Greeted warmly by Ben. Began with one each of smoked and signature old fashioned. Both were incredible. Mallory?s service was impeccable and Gerald?s attention to detail with food presentation was a solid 10! Wenever get dessert but the sticky toffee pudding was out of this world! Newly renovated with gorgeous decor and ambiance wasperfection. Highly recommend!

So little did I realize my timing was impeccable. The second day of The Chalkboard being open after renovations their moody yet classy ambiance set the scene for a lovely dining experience. I stopped by due to raving reviews and figured it would be alovely place to have dinner during my work trip. The photos added show the lovely plating that gives merit to their name, TheChalkboard. The flavors of everything however I can?t simply show through photographs. The mint yogurt sauce for the melt inyour mouth lamb was the perfect compliment and had the perfect amount of kick of fresh garlic that?s reminiscent of my middleeastern family roots. The lovely spiced honey went super well with the mustard and the practically any combination of items Iate on the charcuterie board complimented each other exceptionally well. Then there was dessert. The house made ice creamflavor of the day was pineapple ginger which sounded unorthodox but surprisingly went phenomenally together. In fact so well Iforgot to photograph the dessert before it was gone! The ginger wasn?t overpowering and enhanced the refreshing flavors thecitrus that came from the pineapple. The service was absolutely outstanding and I had a lovely experience and will look forwardto dining here again. The only complaint/critique I can think of providing us that I did not have a cheese knife for thecharcuterie board.

Love the Chalkboard. I have been coming here off and on for years. Nice place to visit for something romantic, something different, or just to treat yourself. Good wines, nice bar, great staff. My only regret here is the quail is no longer on themenu. Pretty much everything else I have had is delicious. Really good local restaurant.

I wanted somewhere delicious, romantic, and downtown. Everyone talks about chalkboard but I didn't believe it until I made some reservations and walked down. The building is absolutely adorable and the live music was a wonderful mood-setter. The cocktailsare well priced and plenty boozy. But the highlights were every piece of food I got to enjoy and the great staff. Everyone wasattentive and as prompt as the chemistry of cooking would allow. Our server was knowledgeable and kind. The food was absolutelynext level. Gorgeous plating, locally sourced and seasonally appropriate offerings. The baked brie blew me away, and I enjoyedevery bite of the duck breast. If you're looking for a wonderful way to spend a special evening, Chalkboard is the place.
