Ramen Hajime - Tustin

The spicy miso ramen used to be quite good, but it has changed for the worse with the new meat they’re using. I raised my concerns about this to the server, but they didn’t take any action. They simply informed me that they’ve switched to a lower quality meat.

The restaurant is fantastic and reasonably priced. I really enjoyed the teriyaki salmon, beef bento, and red rock rolls. The total came to just over $40, which is quite fair for the amount of food you get these days.

I visit this place frequently because they have ramen and sushi on one place so a lot of us can get what we are craving. Besides that their food is actually really good. Their tonkotsu ramen is hearty and not overwhelming and the sushirolls are good. Lately they have new menu items like salmon belly sushi and toro sushi. And their sushi is very affordable anddelicious. I have become a regular customer. Highly recommend.

I didn't try the ramen, but the bento combo I ordered was really disappointing. The karaage lacked flavor. I'm not sure what went wrong—maybe the marinade was off today?

Their ramen is good. However their sides and sushi are not as good. Definitely sticking to their ramen. The customer service can be a hit or miss. Definitely don?t recommend if you?re not willing to wait for your food since they can be slow. I recently wentand they forgot my sushi roll until I asked.
