The Pad See Yew with chicken wasn't too salty or over-seasoned—just really tasty. Their house fried rice was spot on, again without being over-seasoned. My favorite dish has to be the green curry; it's not overly spicy but has a nice kick, packed with plenty of vegetables and protein. All dishes are priced at $12.95. I ordered a Thai tea without ice, and it was sweet and delightful. I'm not usually a fan of overly sweet drinks, so I diluted it with some ice and water, and it turned out perfect.
The main waitress seemed overwhelmed and moved at a very slow pace, likely because she was new to the job. There was also another young woman who was preparing a mountain of to-go orders; she was clearly doing her best to manage multiple tasks, including addressing the mistakes made by the server, but still struggled to keep up. After about a 10-minute wait, she eventually brought us our menus following a table change that we requested to escape the fumes. She was very apologetic about the delay and continued to express regret during checkout, as we had been overlooked by the server. This restaurant would greatly benefit from additional staff. Overall, while the food was good, I would recommend opting for takeout rather than dining in.
I've been going to this place for years. They just went under new management and the person taking orders could be the most incompetent human in business. I attempted to order something that is no longer on the menu and instead of just advising me that it's no longer on the menu, simply refused to believe I have never been there before and WOULD NOT LET ME ORDER. I kept trying and trying and he said NO????? After checking with some friends, I hear that the quality of food is now much less and the prices are MUCH higher. If you're dying for Thai Food just go to Joshua Tree or Yucca.
First time visiting. Went on a quiet Thursday night around 7pm. We ordered the chicken skewers, shrimp pad Thai, beef drunken noodles and the sweet shrimp vegetable. What I dislike the most (the reason for the 2 stars) is the quality of food and portion size. The pad Thai had 4 pieces of shrimp in it. My kiddo was like where?s the rest of the shrimp? I wondered the same thing. For $16 I don?t think it?s worth it. Also the beef in my drunken noodle tasted stale and had that taste of freezer burn. On a positive note their customer service was good. I won?t return but I?ll recommend for anyone visiting for the 1st time.
The duck curry was incredibly delicious, and the steamed rice was fresh. The venue is spacious, which adds to the overall experience. The portion sizes were a bit smaller considering the price, but perhaps I'm just savoring the food too much.
