Chamacos Tacos Surf - Tybee Island

The food is here definitely trash. I brought my daughter here after a day at the beach thinking we were going to get some good tacos because how can you mess that up? Not only did the get out food wrong twice. The food was disgusting. $124 sent that they make you pay upfront before you eat. $5 a taco that small as hell. The people next to us that live in this area said that was a one and done for them and they got quesadillas. Not sure how you mess that up either but I guess you can. I gave the service a four because the server was great. He was very kind.I will never come back here.

Yummy margs tried the infused jalapeño and pineapple margarita it was yummy but VERY spicy! I enjoyed it, and came back another day on our trip to get it again. Tacos were good, but small.

I’m not one to write bad reviews. This isn’t a bad one but more of…. Informative.I am a Los Angeles native. So when it comes to Mexican food. I know it very well.The speed of the service was exceptional, which leads to the food coming out quickly and…. Pre prepared, luke warm and a little on the “the elote cup corn been sitting to long” and not it’s as “fresh” as most Mexican dishes are. The tortilla were also luke warm. Warm enough not to break. The chicken was a little dry.Buttttttt…. All the flavors were there. I had three different tacos all very good. Just luke warm.My opinion is try it yourself. Get plastered and don’t bother worry about the temperature of the food. Have a grand ole time.Vegetarian options: The vegan ? tacos were good (veggies)Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs

What a great place. We stopped today for lunch after a beach day. We will be back.Tacos are 4, margaritas are 7. Food is fresh and delicious. Tortillas and guacamole are home made. Service is on point. Cool ambience too.

So to start, this place is really, really cute! They had a really good menu and it's the perfect place for after a day in the sun. We were a little confused when we walked in because everyone looked our way but didn't speak. We decided to just sit ourselves, and after a few minutes of looking at the menu, we had no idea they don't come to your table. You have to order at the bar, then sit yourself, so there was confusion there. We both got 2 Carne Asada tacos, which had great taste, but for $5 each, you would think they would be bigger than what they were. The Elotes in a cup was very good, highly recommended! They had a bunch of outside games and a little arcade area inside as well, which was really cool!
