Spanky's Beachside - Tybee Island

Good bar grub right on the beach. The chicken fingers are as good as advertised. I went with the fish and chips, which was good. The spuds are basically fried potatoes. The dough is the same as the use for the chicken. In contrast to regular pommes.

The food was great, our server didn't seem happy there. It was not busy and she was kind of Mia, also tell the cook in the back with purple hair to wear a hat or net, I could not eat the other half of my buffalo pack because it hair in it, half I had eaten was delicious.

Cool place right near the beach. They claimed that the chicken fingers were world famous and I agree, they were really good. Get the spuds over French fries. Spuds are basically potato chips that are dipped and fried in the same chicken finger patter. Definitely different, but worth it.

Shrimp Po Boy is delicious!! Grouper fingers, grilled chicken wrap, and spuds also very tasty. Portions for kids were a litttle small, but the adults were happy with their portions. Overall price was right. Just bring your patience especially if you?re from the North.

Not impressed. Place is run down. We had the chicken fingers. They were not seasoned at all. Fries were also not seasoned. If it weren't for the BBQ sauce and ranch food wouldn't have flavor at all. Staff was friendly but not very enthusiastic about the work. After our meal the waitress didn't even ask if we wanted anything else just asked if we wanted the check. Place wasn't busy, understandable.
