1836 Texas Kitchen - Tyler

The food at this restaurant is amazing! The service seemed a bit overwhelmed, probably due to it being a busy Saturday night in the summer. If I lived in Tyler, I would definitely come here for delicious southern home-style meals whenever I wanted. The highlights were the buttermilk fried chicken, chicken fried steak, and enchiladas. These dishes were a perfect combination and tasted exceptionally good. Don't hesitate to try them out!

A local recommended this restaurant to me, so I decided to try the chicken fried steak, as suggested. The dish would have been better if it had not been placed on top of the mashed potatoes, as it made the bottom soggy. Typically, gravy is served on the side to maintain crispiness. The greens were delicious, but the beer was served in an old glass. I may consider returning to this restaurant, but I would explore other options first if I were to visit town again.

It was said to eat here from a local. they suggested the chicken steak I got would have been better if it weren't on the kartoffels. the lower soggy. gravy is always on the side to keep it crispy. greens were really good. old glass to give a beer. will I have gone back? I guess, but I'd try other places first when I get back in town.

We had the opportunity to dinate and visit 1836 kitchen wine dinners since their great opening, and it has never disappointed us with their delicious eating, living ambiente, friendly staff and great service. the owners, chef carlos and mundo, are an excellent double-eam and are one of the smartest, generous, loving and inspiring people I ever know. a true jewel for her community.

Yummy Spot for brunch, beautiful terrace, great appetizers and cocktails. we also got chocolate cake from here at another opportunity and it was the best I had. it was like my mother did it and a HUGE disc. so, enough for four people.
