Lemongrass Petulu - Ubud

A small jewel in a quiet street of ubud city. small family farm, friendly, very cheap. everything is made to order and is fresh. vegetarian dumplings should die!

Small organic place off the main road of Ubud. Has a selection of veg dishes which are or can be made vegan. The staff are so sweet! The food is sensational and cheap. The dumplings are the best I’ve ever had! They also have a selection of organic juices and smoothies.

It's our last night in Ubud and we had only one of those dinners you say I wish we had found this place on the first day! If we didn't leave, we'd be safe to eat here again. To sum it up: simple food made very good, served with gracious hospitality in the mind of the settings. The service was so friendly and the food was so delicious. The dining area is small but nice. As the candles burn and the rain came down, it was a magical evening. Husband and I agreed it was one of our most romantic dates. I ordered banana pineapple juice, spring rolls, veggie dumplings and veggie nasi goreng without egg. The nasi goreng also came at two paces and Tofu Satay. Enjoy many remains for breakfast. The menu is not vegan only vegetarian, so I took Happy Cow 's word for it on order. If you're more ambitious than I might want you, do not confirm an egg in emptying and spring roll wrappers. My husband was very happy with his omni choices. Great. I wish I could go back. Very recommended!
