Tropical Ubud

We are on our honeymoon in Bali and our first stop is Ubud. We stopped in this restaurant for a cold drink and experienced something very special. Suka is a lovely host, made us so welcomed! After a few drinks we decided to have some food too so ordered the MAHI-MAHI SAUCE DABU which was our very favourite dish so far in Bali. The fish was super fresh and every flavour in this dish just perfect! Complements to the chef! Thank you for this unforgettable lunch! You looked after us well, we loved it!

The restaurant is located on the main Ubud market street. They serve a large spread of multi cuisine food. I tried KungPao chicken with rice and liked it. The tase was perfectly balanced and dish was served hot. Alongside also tried the detox drink which was refreshing as well. My wife ordered a veg margarita pizza which she liked. Service was quick and staff courteous, they speak good English as well. Seating is a bit congested however it's understandable to keep prices reasonable considering the location and real estate costs. All in all I recommend this place if your are in or around Ubud market area.

Absolutely fantastic, the best seafood dish l have ever had. Amazing value, great customer service, live music that complimented the atmosphere. Wonderful experience.

I came here to go to Starbucks today and stopped by for dinner. My daughter got hurt coming down the stairs, and suci treated me. It was such a kind and delicious restaurant. I'll be back!

Ate at Tropical multiple times during my Ubud stay. The last visit was not planned but service was so bad at Bollywood across the street that I didn’t want my last Ubud meal to be a bad one. So I got up walked across to Tropical where you are served professionally and with a smile. Every dish I had was good and I forced myself to try the banana, cashew, and ice cream dessert and I was not disappointed! It was delicious. For a solid place for food quality and service to cost, you cannot beat Tropical. Oh, and good music. Many establishments play very explicit music that is not what people want to listen to.
