Sun N Moon Rooftop And Cafe - Udaipur

I recently visited this place for dinner. Its one of the most famous places in the Chandpole area. They have a pretty varied and nice rooftop seating. There are a lot of seating sections catering to different group size, which is a good thing. Coming to the food, I ordered Cheese Garlic Bread and White Penne Pasta. The food was good. The Garlic Bread was tasty, but a bit hard. The Pasta was really good in taste. The staff is quite prompt and helpful. The place can be a bit more maintained. The rooftop has a beautiful view, so they haven’t given much thought to the maintenance of iron railings and other stuff. The place is quite expensi, so one would expect these things to be taken care of. They charge extra for adding vegetables to Pasta, which is quite unheard of. I have never seen vegetables as an add-on in a Pasta, that too at a place which is already expensive!

The first time I came here, it was night time. The music was nice and the ambience seemed great but sadly I couldn't dine. I revisited this place with my S.O. and it was day time. The place seemed fine. The music was too generic tho. We ordered cocktails, both whiskey sour which despite being pricey was only of acceptable quality. The crispy corn was fine too. But the Pizza.. I had seen the photos on google and they looked promising. It wasn't. Absolutely. The margarita pizza was straight up disgraceful. Please improve the quality of your pizzas.

Breathtaking view of Lake Pichhola and old city with very average food. It's a must visit place to enjoy a romantic evening coffee with your partner but one shouldn't keep very high expectations regarding food. 1. Food: 3/5 We ordered Veg Supreme pizza. It was very ordinary, roasted unevenly and mozzarella was not properly done. Size was good. It missed on quality and authenticity. Coffee and Nutella shake was good, presentation could have been better for the price point. 2. Ambience: 4/5 Mesmerizing view with cool evening breeze over the roof top. But the place wasn't clean and tidy when I visited. 3. Service: 3/5 Staff is decent but service is slow. The place doesn't have parking as is the case with any other place in old city. The ambiance of this cafe was amazing with lake view sitting area on terrace. The food was decent enough to spend your evenings with friends.
