Hana Japanese - Ulaanbaatar

Definitely the best Japanese restaurant that Ulaanbaatar has to offer. The pale wood fitout gives it a good ambience.

On point good Japanese food! Hana is one of my favourite Japanese restaurant in UB. Nice ambience and clean. The sushi and sashimi is pretty good. Fresh fish arrives every Wednesday evening and I always make sure I visit on Thursdays. Besides sushi and sashimi, they serve good cooked food and salads. Check out their mixed veg. and shrimp salad! Mutsu fish is a must try if you prefer white fish cooked. Also, don’t forget to try their nabe and sukiyaki.

The Japanese Mutsu Fish was great, perfectly cooked, not too dry. The aburi salmon was great too. The service could be more attentive, the was often challenging to get the staffs attention to top up the green tea. Will be back to try the other dishes!

I'd say it was okay, just plain. Not that good service food, but couldn't complain also. Personally, I wouldn't prefer to go there that much.
