Fischhaus Fischgaststatte Heilbronner

This is a great fish restaurant in the heart of Ulm, a couple of streets away from the Munsterplatz, a must if you're a seafood lover! We sat outside and ate our fish in April, what a treat! For I had a mixed seafood...platter.....a good size piece of beer battered cod, squid rings in beer batter, and skewered prawns, accompanied with a good sized side salad, washed down with a local Gold Ochsen beer. Fantastic fish, generous portions, great staff, and service, we were more than happy!!

This modestly looking fish restaurant (and a shop at the same time) offers great choice of sea food at good prices. Everything we tried was great. Very nice people. We were very happy with this choice.

Have been going there since my childhood and it is a must to go there when I am in town. Fish is fresh and the portions are generous. The classic choice is fish in Bierteig (beer dough). Try the shrimps soup as a starter if...you are really hungry. For the best fish in Ulm, this is the place to go.

Fischhaus Heilbronner is not a fancy place, however since forever the institution for fish in Ulm. Either for buying fresh fish or eating in- or outdoor. Quality is always very good!

This is one those places that you come for the food, in this case for the fish. Not fancy, don't demanding any special preparation. Just come, choose your fish, take a glass of wine and enjoy eating.In door or out door this is a...perfect place for lunch in a nice side streets of old Ulm.
